Cileson-Lotte Chemical Titan plans to divest 49% of its equity interest in Lotte Chemical Indonesia(LCI)to its major shareholder,Lotte Chemical Corp.(LCC),which would enable LCC to jointly fund its Lotte Chemical Indonesia New Ethylene(LINE)project being built in Cilegon,Indonesia(PCN,10 Dec 2018,p 3).The project,estimated to cost around $4.4-billion,involves a new 1-million-t/y ethylene cracker and other related downstream petrochemical facilities,for which expected completion dates were not given.The divestiture is subject to shareholders’approval.
