Antwerp- Ineos said it has decided on Antwerp, Belgium, as the location of its planned €3-billion investment in an ethane cracker and "world-scale" propane dehydrogenation (PDH) unit (PCN, 8 Oct 2018, p 2). Based on McDermott's Lummus Catofin technology, the PDH unit will have a nameplate capacity of 750,000 t/y of polymer-grade propylene. Commissioning is expected in 2023.
