Istanbul-Cereplast Inc. has signed an agreement with Polimernet Plas-tik Ltd. for the distribution of Cereplast bioplastic resins to the Turkish market. Noting that Cereplast has entered into six European distribution agreements this year, Cereplast Chairman and Chief Executive Frederic Scheer said the deal with Polimernet Plastik "is another step in our growth strategy to secure quality distribution partners in key regions, such as Turkey." Turkey is one of three European countries that have adopted the use of bioplastic material for products and packaging.
