摘要

Kalama-Northwest Innovation Works (NWIW) announced that the Cowlitz County Superior Court restored its shoreline permit for a proposed natural gas-to-methanol plant in Kalama, Wash. (PCN, 25 Sept 2017, p 2). The $1.8-billion project, which is planned to be built in two phases, will export methanol to Asia for the production of olefins. The company earlier said the first phase was due for completion in the first quarter of 2018 and the second phase was scheduled for completion in 2019.
