Houston-Contanda Terminals plans to build a new large-capacity storage terminal at its Jacintoport terminal site along the Houston Ship Channel to support its strategic expansion into the petrochemical and hydrocarbon storage markets. The state-of-the-art automated terminal, to be called the Contanda Houston Jacintoport Terminal, will provide up to 3-million bbls of additional petrochemical and hydrocarbon storage capacity. Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2018, and operations are planned to start during the fourth quarter of 2019.
