Alberta— Nova Chemicals is one of the recipients of Alberta's Capital Investment Tax Credit, which Nova is using to support its Phase 2 ethylene furnace refurbishment project in Joffre, Alberta, Canada. In 2014, the company started a $350-million Phase 1 refurbishment project to upgrade and modernize five of its 11 ethylene furnaces at the site. The first phase was completed in the first quarter of this year.
