Schwechat-OMV has incorporated its ReOil used plastics recycling method into the processes at its Schwechat Refinery in Austria to produce synthetic crude from used plastics. The pilot plant uses a thermochemieal process to produces 100 liters/hr of synthetic crude. The crude is then further processed in the refinery to become fuel or base materials for the plastics industry.
