Gunsan-Toray Industries is planning to invest about $89-million over the next three years to increase polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) production capacity at its facility in Gunsan, South Korea, according to Pulse. The company will install the PPS production lines at Toray's Saemangeum complex, which is the "world's first" integrated facility that can produce PPS resins, PPS compounds, sulfureted hydrogen sodium and paradichloroben-zene, the report noted.
