Beijing- Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian) Co. Ltd. has agreed to utilize Invista's latest P8 purified terephthalic acid (PTA) process technology for its fifth PTA line in China. The new 2.5-million-t/y line will also use Invista's proprietary R2R technology to recover benzoic acid, as co-product for an oxidation waste stream. No other details of the project were given.
