Kuwait City— Equate Group said operations have successfully been restarted at its 850,000-t/y Ethylene Unit 2 (EU2) in Kuwait (PCN, 17 July 2017, p 4). The group announced on 10 July 2017 that it was taking the unit offline due to a technical issue and expected to resume operations in two weeks.
