The 58th annual meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) was held October 31-November 4, 2016, in San Jose, California. The meeting brought together researchers (undergraduate students through retirees) from all areas of plasma physics. 1945 abstracts were included in the program, approximately 75 more than the previous year. The presentations included five invited review talks, 99 invited talks, one invited post deadline talk, and four tutorials. There were 1835 contributed presentations, with about 35% oral and 65% poster.
