COMEX copper futures ended the week up 5 cents on the back of rising equities, a continued retreat in the US dollar and falling warehouse inventories. Copper for March delivery, the active month, closed 5.45 cents/lb higher at 295.15 cents/lb after a rally in London trading reached the 295 cents level head of the New York open.
