vSingapore—S&P Global Platts assessed the weekly domestic China ADC12 price at Yuan 14,200-14,400/mt ($2,035-$2,064/mt) ex- works Tuesday, widening from Yuan 14,200- 14,300/mt ex-works on December 24, and the Chinese ADC12 export price unchanged at $1,605-$1,615/mt FOB China. Scrap supply concerns has weighed on sentiment for several months until the recent announcement of the first batch of aluminum scrap import quotas for 2020.
