Allegheny Technologies expects to maintain its current production and shipping schedules for all materials and components supplied for production of the Boeing 737MAX and CFM LEAP 1-B programs despite recently announced production cuts by the US-based airliner, the company said Monday. Boeing said last week it will trim production of the 737MAX from 52 a month to 42 a month for the foreseeable future. The move comes in the wake of two fatal crashes of the planes and a global grounding of the fleet. Investigators have said the causes of the accidents appear to be similar.
