Gold refineries in the southern Swiss Canton of Ticino closing to stop the spread of the coronavirus will not materially impact liquidity in the London market, according to industry body the London Bullion Market Association Monday. According to a report in the Financial Times, traders have been suggesting there is a shortage of gold bars, caused by supply chain disruption caused by the pandemic.
