摘要

Dystocia due to schistosomus reflexus in crossbred Jersey cow aged about six years and two crossbred Jersey heifers aged three years at their full term were presented with intermittent unproductive straining for more than 12 hours. Since per-vaginal delivery was not possible in crossbred Jersey cow and one heifer, dystocia was relieved following caesarean section. However in one of the heifer, schistosomus reflexus monster was removed per-vaginally by applying lubrication and forced traction on oneof the fore limb in steady manner. Following relieving of dystocia either by caesarean section or per-vaginal delivery and subsequent treatment all the three dams recovered uneventfully.
