The US petroleum service company has brought online a DuPont Clean Technologies IsoTherming? hydroprocessing unit to produce 5K b/d of ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) at its Huntington, Indiana (US) facility. Gladieux Processing says the new unit processes a feed of transmix, which is a mixture of refined products (typically a combination of diesel, gasoline, and/or jet fuel) that forms when transported in pipelines.
