Co0.5Ni0.2Li0.15Fe2.15O4/PolYpyrrole (PPy) nanocomposite samples (PPy wt%: 10, 30, 50%) have been prepared by the mechano-synthesis method. Their structural and magnetic properties have been investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and the vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). A linear decrease of saturation M-s, remnant M-r magnetization, and anisotropy constant K-1, along with an almost stable value of the coer-civity H-c have been found and explained as due to the increase of the non-magnetic PPy shell compared to the magnetic nanoparticles in the core. This also may have played a role in the enhancement of sigma(dc) values of the composite samples more than those of the pure PPy and ferrite samples. The frequency dependence of epsilon',epsilon '',sigma'(ac) and tan delta of the composite samples has been discussed depending on Maxwell -Wagner interfacial polarization. The (Z'-Z '') plots of the composite samples have shown different overlapping parts of semi-circles depending upon the electrical parameters. (C) 2019 Published by Elsevier B.V.
