Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) proceeds with its massive project implementation. While getting ready for the steel meltshop startup, the company is also working on the improvement of its port operations.AQS is actively developing its facilities at Djen Djen port to secure the handling of required raw material volumes atsufficient unloading rates. The company received its first discharger (1,500 t/h) supplied by Spain’s Duro Felguera inthe first half of December 2018, Metal Expert learnt. The second unloading unit of the same capacity is expected tobe delivered in a few weeks.
