The state of the mining-metallurgical complex in the Middle Ural region is analyzed during last decade of the XX century. The forecast of the development of mineral and raw material base and industrial facilities of quarries and mines is made for the period 2005-2015. Recommendations for ecological and scientific-technical accompanying are given, as well as the expenses required for development of mineral resources in Middle Ural region are presented.
