摘要

The results of investigations and pilot-industrial testings of the technology for alloying of aluminium and its alloys by titanium sponge impregnated previously by melt of halogenide-bearing flux are presented. It is shown that usage of titanium sponge impregnated by flux decreases losses of this sponge due to oxidation from 40-45 percent down to 4 percent. Refining of alloying metal from metallic and non-metallic impurities by flux is the additive advantage of this technology.
