Undesorbed Dichloromethane in Zeolites Studied by Solid-State NMR

摘要

We have studied the state of adsorbed dichloromethane molecules not removed by evacuation in several H-type zeolites, ZSM5, mordenite, beta, and Y, by means of solid-state NMR. The amount of undesorbed dichloromethane was determined by quantitative analysis of H-1 MAS NMR spectra. The strength and the amount of Bronsted acid sites could not explain the amount of the undesorbed dichloromethane. The channel size is the most probable to determine the amount. The H-1 and (13)CMAS NMR spectra as well as the H-2 static NMR spectra demonstrated that undesorbed dichloromethane is rather mobile.
