I recently published a review of the first volume of the memoirs of Professor Norman Greenwood (November 2012, p. 34), and concluded my review by saying that the second volume would follow. I know that he had finished writing the second volume and was proofreading it. He died on 14 November at age 87, and hopefully we can expect the second volume posthumously. He was a man of the highest academic attainment and also so very kind and approachabLe.
