Mark Zimmerman knows the plant is closing. The Somerset Operating Co. in Niagara County is where Zimmerman has worked for more than 30 years. It is the last operating coal-fired power plant in New York, and it's permanently shuttering later this year. It's nothing new - he's known for months now that this was coming. But each day, it gets a little bit harder and a little bit more real.
