Liquid applied layers, whether water or solvent based, must be at least dried physically, or even partially cured or hardened. The necessary process step for liquid crosslinking is usually crucial for speed, time, space and cost. In the following, a comparison between the aNIR technology and conventional drying technologies and the special application advantages of using the former to dry various printing/coating and laminating processes are outlined.
