摘要

The insecticide abamectin and molluscicide niclosamide are widely used to control the spread of golden apple snails in rice paddy fields in Thailand. The side effects of these pesticides on nauplii fairy shrimps were determined under laboratory conditions at 29.5 - 32 °C. The acute toxicity of abamectin and niclosamide were evaluated at 6,12,18, and 24 h using the nauplii of fairy shrimps Streptocephalus sirindhornae and Branchinella thailandensis. Acute toxicity tests showed that the LC50 values ofabamectin at 6,12,18, and 24 h were 0.138, 0.079, 0.064, and 0.041 pg/l for 5. sirindhornae and 0.443, 0.112, 0.064, and 0.048 Hg/I for 8. thailandensis, respectively. The LC50values of niclosamide at 6,12,18, and 24 h were 72.1, 49.7, 35.9, and 27.3 pg/l for 5. sirindhornae and 55.6,41.9, 24.2, and 17.4 pg/l for 8. thailandensis, respectively.
