摘要

Three glasshouse experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of magnetic fields and nutrient substrates on the yield of tomato and cucumber and on the control of powdery mildew [Sphaerotheca fuliginea] in cucumber. The use of Magrostym deviceto generate magnetic fields (MF) significantly increased the yield of tomato cv. Donador. In one experiment, enrichment of the nutrient solution with silicon and sodium humate combined with MF treatment significantly increased (by 10-27% over the control) the fruit yield of all cucumber cultivars used (Hende, Ilan, Igor and Dina) and had significant suppressive effect against powdery mildew.
