Forecast International projects defense departments worldwide to procure some 5,185 USQ-140 terminals over the next decade. Near-term procurements of the USQ-140 are expected to do very well. Data Link Solutions will nudge out ViaSat in sales over the forecast period. The USQ-140 is a military datalink terminal that provides data and voice communications. It is also known as the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS). Data Link Solutions and ViaSat independently manufacture the USQ-140.
