The UK's Canyon Offshore, a trenching solution provider based in Aberdeen, Scotland, has beenawarded a contract for the provision of offshore cable trenching services on the ?1.5 - 2 billion ($1.7 -2.3 billion) North Sea Link (NSL) Interconnector.The 1,400MW subsea HVDC system with cables linking the UK and Norway will be the world'slongest submarine interconnector and the first link between the two countries.
