Germany's Siemens has provided Vietnam's state run energy company, Electricity of VietnamSouthern Power Corporation (EVN SPC) with a new main control centre in Ho Chi Minh City.Siemens developed,designed and built thefacilities in the main controlcentre in order to be able toremotely monitor and controlthe medium- and lowvoltagegrids in 21 provincesin the southern part of thecountry. This project willsignificantly improve theavailability and efficiency ofthe distribution grids in thisregion and reduce power outages.
