摘要

The number of an entrepreneur in energy sector Sarawak has increasing due to the growth and development of this sector that gives an opportunity to the entrepreneurs. Moreover, this opportunity creates between Bumiputera entrepreneurs with non-Bumiputera entrepreneur in this sector.Eventhough, there is a small percentage of Bumiputera participation in this sector; it creates a curiosity with their success. Thus, this study attempted to investigate the determinants of Bumiputera entrepreneur’s success in Sarawak energy sector. Primary data were obtained from thequestionnaires collected through email randomly to 150 of Bumiputera entrepreneur’s from Sarawak Energy sector listed suppliers. The results revealed that the managing risk, networking and managing finance have a strong relationship with the factor that influenced the success of SarawakBumiputera entrepreneur. Ultimately, networking becomes the most critical effect that lead to the success of Bumiputera entrepreneurs in business followed by managing risk and managing finance. Research implication and future research direction are also discussed.
