摘要

The General Medical Council [1] considers multi-source feedback (MSF) to be essential for monitoring the progress and development of trainees and the revalida-tion of consultants. The Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA) [2] released documents for MSF in 2007 and recommend at least two assessments during the course of training. However, paper-based collection of MSF is laborious, time-consuming and difficult to anonymise. Computerised systems lend themselves well to this task but at present there is no system tailored for anaesthetists. To address this a new online system for collecting and administering confidential, anonymised feedback was developed based upon the RCoA MSF documents. This system was demonstrated to the local Training Committee and then piloted with a small group of trainees.
