Ceradyne Inc of Costa Mesa, California, USA, has announced that it has received ceramic body armour orders totalling approximately $6.9 million for delivery in 2012. These orders were issued by the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and represent special economically designed systems that Ceradyne has produced for USSOCOM in the past.
