摘要

The coronavirus has hit the whole globe unexepectedly. As if it was a big social experiment, it has changed people's mobility near and far, and impacted transport systems severely. However, as the virus has turned into a global pandemic since January,national governments and cities have also found ways to respond to the challenges it presents.Besides restricting accessibility by mandating curfews and quarantines, consequently bringing social and economic life close to a standstill, many transport planners and change-makers in urban mobility have reacted in innovative ways. This article portrays several areas of action and global experiences that can help to understand and prepare mobility-related impacts and responses as well as consider implications for sustainable mobility.
