Products exports from the US Gulf coast increased amid mostly lower prices and frmer demand in Latin America and elsewhere. Gasoline prices fell as support from tighter supply because of Hurricane Delta proved feeting. Temporary refnery shutdowns and delayed restarts as a result of the hurricane helped shave inventories along the Gulf coast to their lowest in more than six months. But US implied demand fell by 3.6pc to 8.6mn b/d in the week to 9 October, EIA data show, more than 8pc lower than a year ago.
