Phil is a nurseryman and dedicated collector of Australian plants, who developed the passion from visiting the West, in the early eighties. Grafting began when being constantly told that the showy WA plants cannot be grown in the east.Verticordia and Pileanthus are amongst the most desirable of all of our native flora. Unfortunately, they are often some of the more fickle plants to cultivate in gardens. With the advent of grafting, many of these have become spectacular garden subjects, with new combinations of stock and scion. The range of successful plants is increasing all the time.
