Dr Tony Scalzo completed his PhD in Microbiology in 1986 and worked at the University of Western Australia for over 25 years in medical research. He has held leadership positions with the Friends of Kings Park for over 20 years, including organising their Growing Friends group. He joined the Plant Development Team at Kings Park as a staff member 6 years ago.
