''I GOT FLOWN OUT by the Flying Doctors once," says Kerrizita Jimbidie, a resident of the Yakanarra Aboriginal community, 31 hours drive north-westof Perth in the Kimberley, Western Australia. My mother and grandmother were with me— they try to keep me awake, saying, 'Count the stars, Kerrizita.'"
