MOTIVATION: Flight safety is of paramount importance to all who work in the field of Aerospace Medicine. After any accident there must follow a learning process which should help to minimise the chances of a similar accident occurring in the future.This Panel is designed to assist this learning process by reviewing the recommendations which have been published and discussed following a major commercial aircraft accident with the loss of life of all onboard. OVERVIEW: The Germanwings accident occurred in March 2015 and this led to the establishment of a Task Force by the European Aviation Safety Agency.
