GEO - DESIGN: Junk. All That Is Solid Melts into Trash is an exhibition held from 19 October to 17 November 2019 in the Netherlands. It was the result of research from various perspectives on the issue of waste by up-and-coming designers. A new MA department GEO-DESIGN will be launched in September of this year at Design Academy Eindhoven, the institution that organized the exhibition, and the professors in charge will be Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin of Formafantasma. Here we talk with Formafantasma's Trimarchi and Farresin about the exhibition, the intent behind the new department, and their stance towards waste.
