Dalbergia sissoo Roxb. is important timber species of India. The nature and magnitude of genetic divergence was assessed among 59 open pollinated families using non-hierarchical Euclidean cluster analysis. All the open pollinated families were groupedin to nine different clusters. Genotypes clustered irrespective of their origin indicated that non-parallelism between geographic and genetic diversity.
