The Executive Committee of the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies (IULTCS) is pleased to launch the 2018 Young Leather Scientist Grant. This prestigious grant is to be awarded to a young scientist, under the age of 35, for a leather research project conducted at a recognized institution in 2018. This is the fourth year of the grant and again Lear Corporation will provide the monetary sponsorship with the objective of encouraging new scientists to develop the chemistry, science and technology of leather. An Award of Euro 1,500 is to be paid as a single sum to the young leather scientist that submits the winning project proposal.
