摘要

In the present work, we have studied the phytochemical effect of Raphanus sativus (white radish) root extract on ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) antimicrobial property against Escherichia fergusonii (MDR), Escherichia cob strains for wound healing applications. Mainly, two methods have been used in the synthesis of nanoparticles. In the first method, R-ZnO NPs have been synthesized in the presence of Raphanus sativus root extract. In the second method, RC-ZnO NPs prepared by simple bio-functionalization of pure ZnO using Raphanus sativus root extract. Moreover, both nanoparticles antimicrobial activity have been compared with pure ZnO NPs. Crystalline and morphological properties of prepared ZnO nanoparticles have been characterized by XRD and SEM. Antimicrobial studies showed R-ZnO, RC-ZnO NPs showed better antimicrobial properties when compared with pure ZnO NPs against Escherichia fergusonii (MDR), Escherichia colt strains.
