摘要

There were two problems for the helical cutting mechanism employing the same type cutter and the same cutter installation angel which made the mechanism have bigger load fluctuation and the cutter load is variational at different cutting depth. To solve these problems, the cutter arrangement of helical cutting mechanism was researched by means of theoretical analysis and simulation experiments, which based on the cutter cutting rock theory and considered the rock compressibility effect, the rock slope, the cutter half cone angle and the installation angle. Research results indicate that: to make the helical cutting mechanism running smoothly, the half cone angle and installation angle should become smaller as the cutting depth increases, but the load of the helical cutting mechanism will be increased.
