The present study was carried out with an objective to develop and standardize a scale for measuring the attitude of parents towards their daughters participation in agricultural activities. Likert's summated rating scale technique was followed for the construction of attitude scale. Initially, a provisional list of 60 statements was made out of which 51 were retained after scrutiny. These statements were sent online to judges and after obtaining mean relevancy percentage, mean relevancy score and mean relevancy weightage for each statement, 37 were retained. These statements were given to 45 respondents from non -sample area who were directed to mark their degree of agreement or disagreement on five- point continuum. Their responses were analysed and final statements were selected on the basis of t-values. The final scale developed consisted of 11 statements (4 positive and 7 negative statements). The reliability and validity of the scale indicated its precision and consistency of the results.
