摘要

An acoustical measuring head (AMH) is presented which combines two known operation principles, the "transfer function method" (TFM) and the "calibrated source method" (CSM). The AMH is able to measure sound pressure, volume velocity, and thereby an acoustic impedance. The main advantage of the AMH is that it covers an arbitrarily wide frequency range within the limits of fundamental mode propagation. Due to the application of the CSM no lower frequency limit exists, in principle. The TFM allows to measure up to the cut-off frequency of the lowest higher order mode. The design of a particular AMH with a tube diameter of 8 mm covering the audio frequency range up to 16 kHz is presented. It is shown that a very high accuracy can be obtained, although the AMH is constructed in a fairly simple way. It consists of a short brass measuring tube, a tweeter, two electret microphones and some damping material. For calibration a plug, which can be inserted into the tube, and a tube extension are needed.
