Perturbed finite-state Markov systems with holes and Perron complements of Ruelle operators

We consider a perturbed system (sigma A,phi(epsilon, center dot)) with topologically transitive subshift of finite type sigma A+ and Holder continuous functions phi(epsilon, center dot) defined on sigma A+ endowed with small parameter epsilon > 0. Through our choice of phi(epsilon, center dot), we realize the situation that the perturbed system has a unique Gibbs measure mu(epsilon) of the potential phi(epsilon, center dot) for each epsilon > 0 and on the other hand the unperturbed system possesses several Gibbs measures mu(1), mu(2), horizontal ellipsis , mu(m) of the limit potential at epsilon = 0. In this paper, we give a necessary and sufficient condition for convergence of the measure mu(epsilon) using the notion of Perron complements of Ruelle operators. Our results can be applied also to the problems of convergence of stationary distributions of perturbed Markov chains with holes.
