摘要

During the last four years the increasing availability of IoT-ready components has made possible a new approach to the maintenance management of hydraulic systems in the steel industry. Hence, the wider information achievable by matching fluid-condition monitoring sensors with the latest data analytics models has shifted the tasks of maintenance specialists from a preventive to a predictive approach. Hydraulic systems usually are affected by slow and progressive wear of pumps, valves and actuators, which reflect in a drift-over-lifetime of fluid physical properties, behaviour and contamination rate.
