First records of Cacopsylla fulguralis (Kuwayama) and Macrohomotoma gladiata Kuwayama in Gibraltar (Hemiptera: Psylloidea)

摘要

Cacopsylla fulguralis (Kuwayama) and Macrohomotoma gladiata Kuwayama (Hemiptera: Psylloidea), are reported for the first time from Gibraltar: C. fulguralis in North District on Elaeagnus x ebbingei, 22.L2019; and M. gladiata in Sandpits Area on Ficusmicrocarpa, 20.i.2019. Both species are native to Asia and have been introduced and spread widely in Europe and the Mediterranean. The host range, geographical distribution and potential impact in Gibraltar of both species are discussed. Macrohomotoma gladiata is also recorded from Greece and Morocco for the first time.
