摘要

In this work, a simple hydrothermal treatment was used for the preparation of superhydrophilic glass and glaze surfaces. The results indicate that a porous layer was formed on the surface of samples after the treatment. It was observed that with increasing the Ca content of the samples, the porosity of the layer decreased. The changes of wetting properties of the samples were also investigated by a droplet test. It was observed that by extending the duration of the hydrothermal treatment to 24 h, the superhydrophlic glass and glaze surfaces can be produced.
